The Southern District is considered to be the most affluent in Hong Kong along with the Peak. The district has many good beaches and great scenery, which make it one of the best choices for expats and local riches.
The Southern District connects to the central business districts via the Wong Nai Chung Gap, the Aberdeen Tunnel or Pok Fu Lam Road. The roads could be very congested at the weekends and public holidays. Extra travel time should be allocated if you opt to take public transports.
