豹紋竹芋，俗名叫做祈禱草Prayer Plant，是流很已久的室內植物。葉子紅脈圖案美麗，背面更為較深的赤褐色，是少有的美麗對比。至於叫做祈禱草，是因為部份葉子會捲曲，像是合掌祈禱的樣子。它比較喜歡橫向生長，所以可以做懸垂植物。它屬於熱帶森林的植物，可以耐陰，適合室內盆栽養植。 打理容易，放置於空氣流通及濕潤，和有光線明亮的環境，但不可以烈日暴曬。需要保持泥土濕潤，但不可以積水以免爛根。
